My very first blog!

Hello everyone in the great wide internet world. My name is Miska Perez and I decided with the nudging of one of my students, to create a blog sharing my everyday life stories about the wonderful animals (horses) and people i work with! First and foremost, let me tell you a little about myself...obviously you know my name, i currently live in Silverado, ca but will (hopefully) be moving to Temecula, ca soon. My business is also based at a cute little ranch called Carbondale Ranch in Silverado, ca. what i do at Carbondale is train horses and give people of all ages riding lessons. I am a jump rider, but i also know western. i started riding when i was 6 years old and throughout the years, i had to learn most of what i know the hard way. i had very little formal instruction up until now. i finally found an amazing trainer whom I've been learning so much from and am soaking all of that information up like a very deprived, bone-dry, sponge. Now you might be thinking, "wow this girl probably sucks at riding/training/teaching", on the contrary i'm a lot better than most people who call themselves "trainers" out there.....just a little heads up, i'm very opinionated and in any blog i write from here on out, please know i really truly do not mean to offend anyone. Anyways, i hope people will find my blog interesting and please feel free to comment (whether it be good or bad)!!! oh, and please don't mistake me for a person who thinks she knows everything; i love learning new things and i believe a great horse trainer/instructor has an open mind and always wants to learn more!
